Way Back Wednesday

I have a lot of random thoughts throughout the day. Maybe I have an overactive imagination, or just need a heavier work load. Recently I kept having random things from my childhood pop up in my head that would make me say, "hey, remember _____." 

In an effort to make myself blog more regularly, and put these thoughts to use, I've decided to start a series called "Way Back Wednesday" (or "Remember This" Thursday, in case I miss my deadline). Now you can all share in the randomness and reminiscing.

Installment #1: The Never Ending Story

This movie fascinated me as a child. I don't think I ever really understood what the story was about. But I do remember the flying dog thing with the weird bubbles on his back. 

And the horse that got stuck in the mud. 

And the rock eater.

And "Bastian...pleeeeease!"

 For some reason the gold thing on the front of the book stayed with me too. 

Maybe I'll find somewhere to rent it this weekend and see what it was actually all about. What are your favorite parts?
